With an innate desire to work with her hands, she found her calling in creating beautiful works of art with fresh flowers as the medium. Featured in renowned publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Washingtonian, Modern Luxury Weddings, and Martha Stewart Weddings, Sarah's work has earned wide recognition for its artistry and innovation. She was a finalist on the hit HBO series Full Bloom, where she showcased her ability to take thoughts and ideas and transform them into an immersive experience. A passionate educator, Sarah has taught for the New York Botanical Gardens and continues to curate courses available through her studio.

Live Demonstration and Q&A with Laura Dowling White House Chief Floral Designer, 2009-2015
Laura Dowling served as Chief Floral Designer at the White House from 2009 until 2015. As creative director for flowers and décor, she managed White House floral design for thousands of official and private events, including state dinners, parties, receptions, and large-scale installations, such as the Fourth of July, Halloween, and the iconic White House Christmas.
Her lush and lively floral creations also graced the White House state rooms, East and West Wing offices, Camp David, and the Presidential private residence.
As Chief Floral Designer, Laura launched innovative strategic partnerships with the nation’s top artists and designers, White House policy staff, including the Office of Science and Technology (OSTP) and Presidential Innovation Fellows, creating imaginative, cutting-edge décor and flowers.

In this floral demonstration, Kelly Shore showed the variety of flowers available during March and discussed the importance of supporting American agriculture and how it captures time and place. She designed a foam-free centerpiece for the home to showcase botanicals.

She’s a proud supporter of America’s flower farmers and sources the blooms and foliage she uses in designs from throughout the United States 365 days a year. Her work in bringing visibility to local and American-grown flowers and the people who grow them launched her into a new season of her business and the creation of The Floral Source. Many designers are learning where they can source in their local communities while adding more sense of place and season to their designs.

Now a globally recognized floral designer and former contestant on HBO Max’s Full Bloom, Ace has been named Texas Designer of the Year and showcased his talents at prestigious events like Floramour.
In this session, Ace shared the techniques and inspirations behind his vibrant designs, offering a glimpse into the creative process that has taken him from Texas to the global stage. Ace’s work is a blend of artistry and inspiration, earning him accolades across the industry. Participants learned how his unique perspective fuels his designs, and gain insight into the techniques that have made his floral creations stand out worldwide.
