The Inspiration
This English still life is of a mound of a variety of floral with a parrot as focal point, and fruit below complete the gilt-framed scene. This visual delight sits high above the marble-framed doorway and would have been seen by guests of the Andersons as they made their way to the dining room. It is one of four that were designed to be part of the walls of the room.
The Flowers
Florist’s inspiration: When I saw this piece, I was instantly captivated by the lush and organic feel of the still floral. I love creating timeless lush floral that plays on different textures. This piece features bold pops of color paired with soft textures creating full and organic movement.

I’m Veronica and I am the owner and lead designer of Pretty Petals. I always enjoyed working with flowers as a hobby and very quickly discovered floral design was my passion. My obsession with flowers and my love of life's celebrations helps me create beautiful designs that showcase your style.
As a Northern Virginia native, I love the history and beauty that this area has to offer! Pretty Petals came from a passion I didn’t know I had until I had it and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else! I truly believe my work is more than just flowers; I’m responsible for helping create a memory of some of life’s greatest celebrations... and that’s why I love it so much!

Donnamaria is a published, award-winning portrait and event photographer based in the Washington DC-Maryland-Virginia area. She owns and operates Circa Life Images Studio, a 2,500 square foot space located on the north end of Waldorf in Southern Maryland. The spacious facility has a very large bay door entrance and offers a range of professional imaging services to include portrait, lifestyle and automotive photography. The studio is conveniently located off the main thoroughfare, MD Route 301, with ample parking just a few feet from the main entrance. She also travels internationally to provide on location photography services.
