The Inspiration
This monumental bronze statue of Buddha seated on a lotus blossom was made during the Edo or Tokugawa period (1603-1868) for use in a temple.
The Flowers
Recipe: Bamboo, monochromatic green florals, veggie roses, parrot tulips, dianthus, smilax
Florist’s inspiration: This installation explores the quiet relationship between art and nature, allowing organic elements to feel as though they have always belonged. We use varied bamboo, layered greenery, and gently moving vines to create a sense of presence and stillness, enabling the artwork to feel both grounded and embraced within its surroundings. Through intentional asymmetry and natural movement, the composition reflects Jarrod Design’s belief that environments shape emotion—resulting in a composed yet effortless harmony between art and growth.
