The Inspiration
This pair of Japanese Imari porcelain jars, made in the mid-eighteenth century, depict scenes of a geisha within a wave-like border.
The Flowers
Recipe: Roses, spray roses, delphinium, tulips, stock, lilies, anthurium
Florist’s inspiration: These ornate vases add a burst of color and elegance to the fireplace mantel which serves as a focal point for the grand ballroom. We are excited to create a floral installation to mimic the feel of these vases with a delicate design that is full of color and flair.

TreBella Events LLC is a planning and event floral design company owned by Shawn Somerville, located in a quaint town of Southern Maryland called “Loveville,” MD. Shawn has a degree in Architectural Engineering and loves to design and create. As a child she always had a sketchbook nearby. After working in the wedding planning field and being surrounded by flowers, that love of design shifted to florals. "I’m kind of obsessed with it. I strive to provide high quality florals with unique twists on the design. Nothing brings me more joy than to walk the floral wholesaler floor; stumble across a quirky flower; and create something amazing with it! There are so many colors and textures that come together in the world of design. The possibilities are endless!"
As the Lead Designer, Shawn looks to every client as an opportunity to create a timeless design that is unique to their journey in life. "Whether it incorporates a specific accent, a unique color, or special flower, I am all for it! I have a gifted staff who is dedicated to being professional and courteous. We have such a close rapport with top planners and vendors. This has afforded us the opportunity to work on a wide range of event types - weddings, galas, birthday parties, grand openings, bar and bat mitzvahs, anniversaries, social events, and charitable fundraisers."
