9. Study of Two Pages

The Inspiration

Artist José Villegas y Cordero painted this Study of Two Pages, for figures in The Triumph of the Dogaressa about 1882.

The Flowers

Recipe:Ranunculus, poppies, roses, anemones

Florist’s inspiration: This arrangement is inspired by the bright colors in the painting and the way they softly shift from one tone to the next. We chose florals that reflect those gradual changes, layering shades so they naturally blend and create movement.

THE DESIGNER

Daniela Negrette
Poppy & Lola

Before starting Poppy & Lola, I spent over a decade in event planning and marketing, working across industries including luxury hospitality and interior design. Along the way, I discovered a love for tablescapes, storytelling, and flowers. That passion is what led to Poppy & Lola, where I get to blend my event and design experience to help others create moments that are both beautiful and meaningful.
