The Inspiration

This mural of the formal Italian garden at Weld, the Andersons’ primary home in Brookline, Massachusetts, is titled Italian Garden at Weld and was painted by Carl Yens in 1909 for their breakfast room in Anderson House.

The Flowers

Recipe: Locally sourced flowers include anemone, blooming branches, butterfly ranunculus, calla lily, narcissus, poppy, snapdragon, tulip

Florist’s inspiration: Inspired by the season, we're bringing spring to life in the garden! Using seasonal, locally sourced flowers, we imagined what might be in bloom today and re-created the garden urns in our signature wild garden style, a refreshing contrast amongst the stone, arches, trees, and ornamental plants featured in this formal garden.
